They're a sweet little dog that wants to go on adventures. Boy and his brother and family go on a Lake Vacation. What an enjoyable and fun story. There is rhyming along the way. But there is a little fun game in the book as you read or the child read the book. What happens to Rambee Boo Sock? Will your child find the socks or remember where Rambee Boo drops his favorite rag?

I do not know if the author put this in; I noticed the question at the back of this book. Can your child or children name the places that Rambee Boo drops his sock? You can play some activities or games with your child with this book, like the Memory game with Rambee Boo sock.

The activities that Rock and Rambee Boo do at the lake. They seem to have so much fun that Rambee Boo drops this sock along the way. The aforementioned is funny and what his mom does so that Rambee Boo and Rock do not realize what he is doing. I believe that this book will teach children rhyming and some other reading skills. At the end of the book, the memory game that came to mind seems fun to help children with memory after reading.

I would love to continue the series at some point as there are three other books before this one. I would love to see what Rambee Boo and his family get up to in the first three books. This book is the fourth one in the series. However, you do not need to read them in order. Parents will find some fun with memory games they use at the end of reading this book. You can also find out what other fun outdoor activities you and your child or children can do during the summer or outdoors.

Rambee Boo's Lake Vacation Book Tour Giveaway

I began writing THE RAMBEE BOO SERIES after we added a fur baby to our family, during the Covid-19 pandemic quarantine. The characters in the series are based off my youngest son Rocky (aka Rock), and our rambunctious puppy Rambo (aka Rambee Boo). Whenever there's trouble, these two are usually at the center of it! I graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High school in 2000 and went on to get my B.A. from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. I currently live in New Jersey with my husband, my three children and of course…my Rambee Boo! I've always had a great love for children's books and started collecting them in college. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to write my own series to add to our collection. I hope these books will continue to grow and foster children's love for reading. I can only hope that my readers enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoy writing them!

Book Tour: I'm Not Weird, I Have Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD): Alexandra's Journey by Chynna T. Laird

Book Title:
I'm Not Weird, I Have Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD): Alexandra's Journey
Authors: Chynna T. Laird
Series: Growing with Love
Genres: Special Needs, Children, Picture Books, Emotional, Mental Health
Publisher: Loving Healing Press
Publisher Date: 2012-08-05 (24 Pages, Paperback)
Through Understanding Comes Respect and Love
This book was inspired by the author's daughter, Jaimie, who struggles with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) every day. It was written to validate Jaimie's feelings and to show her other children feel things the way she does. This book can help children with SPD learn how to explain their disorder to others; help peers understand what children with SPD go through; and also help therapists, teachers and/or counselors learn how to talk about it. Helping others learn about children with special needs brings understanding to them and help to make them seem less... different. New 2nd edition includes suggested activities teachers or caregivers can do with children to help develop a deeper understanding of how SPD "feels" plus new pages on vestibular and proprioception systems.

Are you experiencing a child or children with SPD? You want to know what it is or what it might be? Well, this book called "I'm Not Weird, I Have SPD" explains Sensory Processing Disorder. It shows how a child feels and what is going on with them. It also conducts and talks about how to cope with SPD.

The way this book happens to stay done, I enjoyed it. It explained it to me in a way I could understand. I see I may or not have some of the symptoms even though I was not diagnosed with this, and I could have some of the symptoms or overlap with others. I get frustrated with a loud noise, and I have high-functioning autism. I could see some overlap between the symptoms and the other mental illnesses out there. So be sure to get some help and professional help.

This book will help children to understand and learn to communicate with someone who has SPD. It is also a good resource for parents and teachers in their classrooms. The pictures remain done well. They are crisp and enjoyable to look at in the book. This book will help those who have sensory processing disorder and need help putting words to their feelings and helping them communicate with their parents and others.

Sprightly the carrot has the perfect life… for a normal carrot.

However, Sprightly is not your normal carrot.

He wants to become a flower.

Dave the daisy and the other flowers make fun of Sprightly, but his upbeat nature prevails.  With the help of Ralph the dog, creativity, and hard work, the sprightly carrot proves that even the most unlikely dreams can come true in this funny, heart warming adventure.

Are you looking for a cute spring story for your children or child? One that may deal with a significant issue that comes away gently but deals with the problem. I thought this was a fun and lovely story about the persuasion of what you wanted. But also, bullying does not always get your way. The Sprightly Carrot's Dream is the book to get.

Children will learn some suitable life lessons about bullying and learn about gardening; Children will learn about kindness and friendship. I did see this throughout the book. I wonder what Spright will do to achieve this dream? Will he get his goal, or will he not.

Sometimes being what you are is essential, and enjoying that. Children will learn something about carrots and also about flowers. Will Dave get what is coming to him? The way he acts and does not like Spright for some reason.

Parents will love this book on their children's bookshelves as it does teach some lessons about some fun things. Parents and children can learn about carrots and learn something about carrot roots and what they might make. You will be surprised.

The author does a beautiful job with this. I even learned something about carrot roots and what could happen. I thought the story was sweet. The pictures are beautiful as well.

Book Review: A Celebration of Spring

Book Title:
A Celebration of Spring
Author: Roger Carlson
Genres: Children, Seasons, Spring, Rhyming

Spring is a magical time of the year. This book and its colorful illustrations are a celebration of everything we love about spring including the melting snow, the wildlife making its triumphant return, the majestic flowers, and the fresh air.

Are you looking for a book that explains the seasons? Well, this one describes what Spring is about in a fun and enjoyable way. Children can learn to rhyme with this book. It is a rhyming book. However, I came to the end of the book. I have also seen other potential fun things to do with children, not only what you could do or your children could do outdoors.

The book utilized young children learning to read and older children by asking what fun activities they could develop during Spring. What could the children come up with some outdoor fun with after reading this book?

Parents could use this book to enough their children to want to play outdoors or come up with a family outing and take this book along to read later on their trip. Children will learn rhyming and some excellent outdoor activities and maybe come up with their own by being inspired by A Celebration of Spring or pictures in the book. Parents might find some activities ideas to do with their child or children after reading this book. One activity I thought of was going outdoors, counting the birds that I see in my backyard. Watching the birds fly around my area or walking to get my mail. Though they are just some ideas, another might be a coloring activity or drawing activity.

I have no idea if this is what the author had in mind when he wrote the book. The activities do some to come up and think about after reading this book. This book can bring that out with just reading the book and giving children some ideas to come up with independently. Parents could ask their children what kind of outdoor activities they can do outdoors.

Children seem to sometimes have a difficult time with change. Are you planning to move to a new place with a child or children? This book named "The Adventures of Molly and Ollie: Moving Day" by Sally Beale may be a book to pick up.

This book deals with changes. It seems like it deals with emotions a child or children may express. They find that maybe things will not be so different after all. Who is Ollie? You will be surprised at what he does? There seems to be a conversation between Ollie and Molly about her moving to a new house? Will Molly warm up to her new bedroom and the place she moved to?

This sweet plot deals with change and moving away. I enjoy the way the pictures remain made; They are colorful and magical. Children will enjoy the images. How does Molly get her room unpacked? You will be surprised and enjoy it. I know children will want this book to read to them and reread to them.

Parents might want to have this book on the child or children's bookshelves for fun. But will help with your child's emotions on moving and dealing with change. Pages: 32

Formats: Hardcover, eBook

'A good giggle. In this day and age, it's fun to read something so...'refreshing'!''

- Craig Smith, Award-Winning International Bestselling Author of The Wonky Donkey

''Sorry, Walter the Farting Dog. I think it's fair to say that this is probably the best picture book about toots I've ever read. Take my advice and put away your scruples. You shouldn't turn up your nose at this.''

- Betsy Bird, A Fuse #8 Production, School Library Journal

''Wish I had thought of it first!''

- Adam Rex, Author/Illustrator of On Account of the Gum

When it's time for Jessa the fairy to proclaim what kind of fairy she wants to be, she accidentally says ''toot'' instead of ''tooth!'' Now she'll be in charge of finding all the toots from all the bottoms in the world. This is not exactly what she had in mind..

Title: CHEESEMAKER DURDSDEN

Author: Mark Huffman, Dawn Davidson (Illustrator)

Pub. Date: May 4, 2021

Publisher:  Brown Books Pub Group

Pages: 32

Formats: Hardcover, eBook

Find it: Goodreads, Amazon, B&N, TBD, Bookshop.org

Cheesemaker Durdsden could hardly be called a cheesemaker, with how bland, rubbery, and flavorless his cheese tasted. And so, in order to better his skills and silence the critics, he went in search of any and every cheesemaking technique he could learn. That way, he could make cheese to be envied by every cheesemaker, and savored by every cheese enthusiast. Now he's back with new skills, and some suspiciously delicious--deliciously suspicious--cheese to prove it. How could a man with such boring cheese before now make this tasty cheesy treat? You'll never guess what fabled creature holds the secret to Cheesemaker Durdsden's sudden success!

The Toot Fairy: (4.5  Moons)
This story is cute, which is called "The Toot Fairy." What a way to bring something that we do not like too much. In a fun way. This book may bring a smile to your child or children. A fairy that wanted to collect teeth but misspoke. What way to start your fairy career and find you did not get the job you wanted.

Maybe we have toots fairies that help with our smells we do not like, and they are somewhat noisy. Children can learn at the same time about toots and what we eat. They may get a coin without knowing it. This book teaches that in a sweet way.

Pictures are down well. I wish I had a print copy of this book, but otherwise, it was a decent book and enjoyable. I know I have not read a book that is like this book. Children seem to enjoy fairies and like the story behind this book.

Ever wonder where those mysterious coins that you might have left behind in the yard or didn't know you dropped? It's possible someone or something left it for you to find. Fairies seem to have different careers, and maybe one misspoke. Parents can use this to help teach a child or children about the food we eat and what comes out of our bottom.

About Mark:

Mark Huffman writes about our shared human experiences, which is a pretentious way to say that he writes about toots and bottoms and food. He prepared for writing children's books by spending much of his early life as an actual child. Unlike other children's authors he might name who have spuriously claimed the title, he is a real doctor. He lives with his family in Texas.
