Over the River and Through the Woods reminds me of the song or even poem that you sing on your way to Grandma's when you are going their to eat at Thanksgiving. If this Title did not remind you of that I do not know why.

The Title did this and I could not forget the song or poem that pops into my mind when it did. I would love to have download the one I found that sing the complete song of this title but it seem to be hard. There seem to be different versions of this song.

This book has different stories in it. They are all short and sweet. I loved each story. There seem to be poem and a recipe in the book. I really did enjoy each story that was written and chosen for this book. There was not one that I did not like. Each author show their talent and or story.

The way this is set up I enjoyed it. I was able to read multiple stories in one night. I really like that each story was short or told about their memories on Christmas memories. Each story was heartfelt and loving. The stories are made for just that the holidays.

These stories could bring you to feel their pain or their memories. The stories have meaning and feelings. Any one looking for holiday stories this book is worth it. Each story has is only meaning and I really could see that with each story that was put into this book.

The book is about sharing and giving. It is done well. Children will learn some rhyme as well with this book. Though the book is about learning what is right and wrong. There is also the lesson of giving to though that need it more.

The author does this well. Show it tough the pictures. The pictures do tell the story. Learning about giving to others is the most important thing. This book is more showing you around the secret society but also what they do.

God wants us do be a giver and share too though who needs the stuff. I enjoy the way the story is story or meaning of the story is told. Teaching children the meaning and telling about giving your stuff away to though that need it. Teaching children to share as well.

Rhyming is a part of the theme in this book. Children can learn words as well. It is fun to read. It also enjoys and can make your child or children laugh as well.

This book is set during the Christmas season. The family is getting ready for Christmas. Ted's father gets up to tell a story of meeting Santa Frog. As the story is being told, children will get to learn to rhyme some words. The series continues to teach children to read.

Ted and his brother Brad seem excited about Santa Frog. Will they get to meet Santa Frog? What will Santa Frog bring them and how many presents? There is still the meaning behind the story. There seem to be an important meaning behind the story. Though this one will not know until the end of the book. What matters most is that Family Matters.

I got the feeling of The Night before Christmas feeling with this story. As if you read. Though with the teaching of the meaning of Christmas and family being the center of the story. Though that is my thoughts on it.

The author still gets the children to learn to read with the rhyming theme as you read. This is good as this helps with children and good to have parents pick up the series. It does teach lessons and meanings that are important for children to learn.

One day, Ted's grandfather tells Ted something important - he's going away for a few days, and could Ted look after his special diamond? Ted must not play with the diamond with his friends or even show anyone, for it is an old tradition to pass the diamond down to the next frog in the family, and it's a very valuable stone.
