Twin Tales is a book about twins that are alike and different. Children all want to feel special. Even twins have their personalities. Parents sometimes dress their children the same and do not allow their children to be themselves.

This book explains it to show that twins can be alike in many ways but also very different. Each person should get to know each one, and then you will be able to tell a twin apart. I have grown up with twins. I could tell them apart, but my mom could not even remember who was who.

I knew what this book was trying to do. It is trying to explain that all identical twins and fraternal twins will like the same things. That's okay. The pictures are lovely. The author did a fantastic job showing that twins can be alike with some things but can be very different. They still will get along. Twins are just like any other children.

Children will enjoy this book and learn about twins. If you are a twin, then this book is made for you. The picture book is suitable for all children. Parents and children can learn and teach each other while reading this book. Children can learn from each other as well and read this book together as well. It's okay to be different from your twin.

Chipper Makes Merry is a charming book. It is suitable for the winter season. The story seems to be about a young fox that wants to help his friends be happy. He wants to cheer them up with small surprises. Will Chipper be successful, or will he despair at his mistakes.

The pictures are well done. I love the way Chipper is determined. But will he be successful? Will he have to help his friends out even when they're a few mess-ups along the way. Will Chipper get these two friends to help out and maybe cheer up Moose?

This book deals with kindness and determination. Children will want to read this book year-round. However, it remains set during the cold winter season. Chipper's plan does ruin, or will he find a way to be successful in making things, Merry.

Children will want to cheer on this little friendly fox. They will laugh and encourage their little furry friend with his little surprises when he tries and leaves them for this friend. Will it work? Children will enjoy the fun of this book. This phase is said repeatedly throughout the book "Tip Toe, Tip Toe, Crackle, Crunch!" I wonder how it all ends up for Chipper and his furry friends?

Morgan is a fun wife, and imperfect mom of 3 crazy kiddos and 2 little lemon (problematic) dogs. She tries to live her strengths the best she can. She likes to say she is creative, not crafty. Morgan is a homemade Halloween costume type of mom. She lets her kids mix the play doh. She bakes fun birthday cakes (cutely, but far from perfection). She loves a homemade valentine and a school project. Chipper the Fox is an extension of Morgan's creative strength. Originally designed as character to create merry during the holiday season, Chipper has grown and developed into a story of determination and love.

Are you shopping for Halloween theme books for your child or children? Well. “The Costume Contest” by Roger Carlson is a good one to have on your child’s bookshelves. It deals with Halloween, and it also helps with cooperation and conflict solution.

We meet Aaron and Ava for this story. The story behind this is sweet. Will Aaron help his little sister out with her costume and the contest? You will see that Aaron wants to be something different for Halloween? But did Aaron promise to be a cat with Ava or not?

Children will learn about conflict solutions and solving problems through cooperation. I like how the two kids figure out their trick-or-treating costumes between themselves, though with parents’ support. What does Aaron decide to do?

The author put this story on Halloween, focused on friendship, and saw what happens when they trick-treating. Who ends up willing to participate in the costume contest? The pictures are so colorful. Buckley the Highland Cow and Ralphy the Goat: A True Story about Kindness, Friendship, and Being Yourself is an adorable book; It was charming and enjoyable. It will help children learn about being kind to others, learning about friendship, and being about yourself. Children will need to know they can be themselves and still be kind and make friends.

This book does show that being different is okay. Family can come in all different sizes and shapes. The story is excellent for all children to learn. Bullying is not a good idea. Children can learn by reading this book to stand up for themselves or their friends.

We meet Buckley and see how he deals with losing his mama. We see how he adapts to the farm where he remains living. Things do not seem to change much for him until a new member joins the farm and becomes a family.

When we meet Ralphy; He seems to be a calming presence for Buckley. It also makes Buckley curious and starts to make some changes. Will they be friends forever? The photographs are lovely. I love the authentic look and feel of the images.

This book deals with two farm animals. This book is suitable for children that love animals as it focuses on farm animals. Though it is not just for fans of animals and farms, it is for all kinds of children.

Bottle and Stick is a cute tale about glue. Children will enjoy this as a way to learn about the two different kinds of glue. This tale tells about how to use glue. The things that Bottle and Stick know through their new friends from the night before school starts. This book also can prepare your child or children for school as the first of school can be scary. Just see what happens to Bottle and Stick when they start school for the first time.

They are put out and worried about what might happen to them. Maybe this will help teach children about the glue rules and perhaps even make all things better. Doing things together and sticking together may be an excellent way to help a friend out.

This book is a unique way to show how the glue implies made for some crafts and what the other glue stick implies made for simple crafts. Both work well for arts and crafts. Children of all ages enjoy playing with glue. This book is good for the classroom and your child or children's bookshelves.

Parents could use this to help teach youngsters about the glue rule of how to use the glue. They could also prepare them for the school with the way Bottle glue and glue sticks are for different things. I do enjoy the fact that this is shown through the eyes of glue.

Let's Talk is about a story of a girl that meets a new girl that has Autism. So this book is about Autism and friendship. It is a sweet story; I enjoyed it. Though I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, it is a disability. Many people have it, and each person is on a different spectrum. Some are on the high end, some are somewhere in the middle, and some are on the lower side.

We may look standoffish or even act strangely or act differently than usual. I have Autism and am on the high end of the spectrum. Though I was different from my cousins when growing up and acted differently than them. I still do.

Autism is something we all need to learn and understand and accept, as it is still hard to see or understand. This book helps in a way or at least spotlights on the communication part of Autism. I can relate to this book, and I know quite a few people with Autism. We all act differently and our interests. I get along with them all.

This book hit Autism on one aspect but shows that we can enjoy some fun and form friendships even though we are different. Will they last well? That depends on the friends who want to understand and do not mind our quirks and the way we commute.

This book shows how a girl learns about Autism and understands and communicates with another little girl named Emma. The pictures are down well. It an excellent book to have on any child's bookshelf; It will teach parents and children or introduce them to Autism or Autism Spectrum Disorder. The story is down well and sweet. I cannot wait to see what these girls do on their adventures.

Genre: Children, Friendship,
Publisher: GLM Publishing
Published Date: April 9, 2015 (28 Pages, Paperback)
ISBN: 9780578140766

Description: Fast Freddy is one of the sea kids that live in the “coralhood.” Fast Freddy overcomes the ridicule of being different (half shark, half octopus) from the other kids in his new school. Once they find out he can swim fast like a shark, they ask him to join the swim team. They realize he is a great kid and are happy that he helps them win the championship for the first time. He comes from behind overcoming Marcus who is a formidable threat on team Barracudas. His octopus arms wave in victory as he crosses the finish line! Freddy receives the MVP award, but says a prayer of thanks to Jesus for being different and having new friends
The story behind this book is about being special in your own way. It also focuses on making new friends and learning to help with fitting in. The audience is for children and parents that have small children. There is a meaning behind the plot that teach children that it okay to be different.

Your children will learn that being different is not all bad. Your children will learn how special they are. This is a great book to have it as a conversation starter. This also a good book for beginner readers. Children can learn that about being unique can be a blessing. The art and font were helpful. It was also inspiring a bit.

I thought the pictures were well done. I could see the what the book was about with pictures. The words are big enough for children that are just started to read. Images were colorful. Fast Freddy is an easy read. I recommend this book for young readers. Parents can read this book as well to their children. I also like the way the author has put it together where you will learn about friendships as well. It is a fun and sweet book to read.
