He got their planet to bow at his feet. But the strength of snot minions can only go so far… Evil COVID wants to rule the universe. Tired of life barreling through space stuck in the nose of an intergalactic bat, the villainous monarch longs to issue orders to more than his boring band of boogers. So when their blind ride flaps them towards the perfect target, COVID tugs on beastly nose hairs and rides the sneeze all the way to Earth’s billions of unsuspecting humans. Sending the globe spinning into a pandemic panic, COVID is thrilled with his spectacular invasion’s monstrous mayhem. But when the lowly humans don masks and fight back to wash him from their home, COVID is suddenly injected with a terrible fear that his cruel reign will soon be coming to an end. With humanity in his clutches, can the vile virus keep his corona-crown? Designed to be wickedly playful, this poetry book for kids is sure to leave adults snickering too. And amid the silliness lies useful lessons for young ones to stay safe and healthy, now and in the future. The Germ who would be King is a silly cartoon of what was going on in 2020. With all the talk about Covid 19. This book helps explain to children what was going on with a virus. We were all talking about during the 2020 year. However, we are still dealing with it today.

This book shows how a virus was taking over everything and how it dominated our society. In a fun and funny way. Though this is funny, would you please take the virus seriously and prevent it from getting it?

It takes place with a germ that wants to dominate the world for its evil plans. Will it work? Or will humans learn to take the precious and separate and do things differently to draft a nasty germ? The first time I read it, It was not funny for me. But when I was reading it a little as my mom read it. I got a little chuckle out of it. We all need a few books like that. Especially the way 2020 was and how everything flipped upside down. We still are dealing with it. But a little humor and taking the things to stop the virus is a good thing.

I do love the pictures. I did enjoy the virus cartoon image; It's charming. The way the plot exists is fun. Children will enjoy this as well as parents, I am sure.

Life was busy, exciting, normal - until, with one phone call, everything changed. Everything was cancelled and shut down until further notice. While navigating the stay-at-home order during the pandemic, many different emotions were felt. This story is told through a child's journal entries that demonstrate many of these emotions. What begins with worry and frustration evolves, with this story showing how one child learned ways to give hope even when things seemed hopeless.

I am sure some children will not remember that there was a pandemic? Well, this book "Giving Hope: A Child's Journey Through a Pandemic" is a good one for children of all ages. Young children will be wondering why things have changed and why they can not see their friends and family.

This book does that through the eyes of a child or children. I am not quite sure; This is where the half star (moon) comes in, in my rating of four and a half stars (moons). Otherwise, this book does explain all about the emotions they will go through, from being worried to many others.

These diary entries are well done; Talking about what is going on with children and what is happening around them. Each one occurs with an emotion. This book is good to have around to explain the feelings going on during a stay-at-home order or lockdown, as many have called it.

This book can teach children who are all essential or heroes during this difficult time. This book is not just for a pandemic situation. I could be used to guide during other struggling or difficult times ahead.

The pictures are very bright and vivid. They do tell the emotion or emotions the child is feeling during that diary entry. The drawings are lovely throughout the book. There are some ideas that children can do to help with the changes and maybe even get in though with family during a hard time. Can your child or children come up with something you could do to bring hope? Maybe even come up with some ideas to do around your neighbor and show them or tell you to care while trying to stay safe.

Disclaimer: I know I recived this book free from a site i sign up for but who I can not recall. Those it was for me to give an honest and unbis review and that I am doing.

Imani and Kayla are the best of friends who are learning to celebrate their different skin colors. As they look around them at the amazing colors in nature, they can see that their skin is another example of God's creativity! This joyful story takes a new approach to discussing race: instead of being colorblind, we can choose to celebrate each color God gave us and be colorFULL instead.

This story as a meanful teaching for children. I got the meaning of the story or the moral of the story as you read. This is a great story for children of all ages. Parents should pick this one out and help teach our children what it mean to be different.

The author does a wonderful job of this though pictures and story itself. She show how god created a world that is colorfull. Would you want your child to be colorblind? God made us to see colorfull and world colorfull so we should teach our children that being different skin color like chocolate it okay and that even siblings may look the same but different. This a book teach children and others that colors are beautiful. If everything was the same color our world would be dark or not special.

Look at your world differently and teach our children and child to be kind and say there a reason god made each and everything with colors. He want as to see Colorfull.

Percival, the wizard, sends them on their quest with the help of a magic fork, facing several challenges along the way. Not until the final test do Rosalind and Sparkler discover the real secret behind Good Manners.

Manners are more than mere rules of etiquette--good manners make others feel at ease and are the foundation of compassion and gratitude. It is a never-ending quest for parents and teachers to instill in our children the importance of good manners. This book is a precious tool in achieving that goal.
