Then a wagon pulls up one evening, carrying three children and a deputy with news that will change her life forever. Warren and his wife have passed away, requesting on their death beds that their children go to live with “aunt” Neva. Neva’s heart is shattered to learn of her husband’s secret life. How can she care for three children who remind her daily of Warren’s betrayal? But how can she abandon innocent children to an orphanage?
Based on true events from Sawyer’s family history, Room for Hope is a beautiful story of God’s powerful redemptive work in the midst of struggle, betrayal, and heartbreak.

This book is about a woman who finds out something about her husband. Her twins, Bud, and Belle have their parts in this story as well.

Arthur has parts in this story. We see a lot of people have shown their feelings and how it is is hard to hold on to faith. Each member shows their true colors. Or will they show mercy towards the woman?

Will the truth be brought open? To find out you will need to read the story. It's quite a heartfelt story. It made me cry a little bit. Kim Vogel Sawyer has done it once again. She brought the story to life. I have been affected while reading it. I felt like I was in the town of Buffalo Creek. Seeing the struggles Nava went through with her twins Bud, and Belle along with Charley, Cassie, and Adeline.

There are many different secrets that will be revealed. Her husband held many secrets that show up until he has died.

The Mapmakers Children

Book Title: THE MAPMAKER'S CHILDREN
Author: Sarah McCoy
Genre: Historical Fiction, 1860-1865 Civil War, Mystery, Slavery,
Publisher: Broadway Books (336 Pages, Paperback)
Publish Date: February 9, 2016

Description: Have you ever wondered if your decisions could change the course of history? Questioned whether or not bad things happen for a reason? In Sarah McCoy's THE MAPMAKER'S CHILDREN: A Novel (in paperback February 9, 2016), two women's lives are inextricably linked as they struggle through personal conflicts and wade through mysterious secrets. As the chapters alternate between these two commanding female protagonists, the reader must redefine courage, family, and destiny alongside these two remarkable women.

Sarah Brown, the fiercely independent daughter of abolitionist John Brown, is a talented artist in 1860's West Virginia. When Sarah discovers that she cannot bear children, she turns her skills toward helping others and becomes one of the foremost mapmakers for the Underground Railroad. Taking cues from Slave Quilt codes, she hides maps within her paintings as the United States moves toward a bloody civil war.

Over one hundred and fifty years later, Eden Anderson, a modern-day woman struggling to conceive a child, moves into an old house in West Virginia as a last-ditch effort to save her marriage and start a family. When she stumbles across part of an old porcelain doll in the root cellar, Eden slowly uncovers a dramatic connection to the Underground Railroad.

McCoy, whose novel The Baker's Daughter was a nominee for the 2012 Goodreads Choice Award for Best Historical Fiction, spent three years researching the Brown family history. This research became the basis for her inventive narrative, one in which McCoy honorably portrays the spirit of the real Sarah Brown and imagines her ties to the fictional Eden. Skillfully plotted and magnificently transporting, THE MAPMAKER'S CHILDREN highlights the power of community and legacy, illustrating the ways in which history and destiny are interconnected on one enormous, intricate map.

I loved this book with each turn of the page. It gave you two stories that went well together. You get a modern mystery. You also learn about history at that time.

This book has you learn about Sarah and her family. We learn about slavery and what it like to be a part of the UGRR? The historical fiction and story go through the past to the future.

What will happen to Sarah and helping other by being so brave? The abolitionist John Brown has a daughter that might really be talented. She and Eden have something in common. Will Eden uncover the secrets of the past to the future?

You do learn about slavery and what our country was going through at that time. Eden may find a story that connects to the Hills from the past to present.

This product does work. It may not be the color you are looking for. It seems to really sun blonde and could make you think it will be too blonde. It does give you a subtle color. You can put it to a darker blonde and will lighten the color.

This is good for those that have different color blondes and gives you different shades. It blends in colors where it needed.

All Things Bright and Beautiful

Book Title: All Things Bright and Beautiful
Author:

Description: All things bright and beautiful; all creatures great and small; all things wise and wonderful, the incredible Ashley Bryan illustrates them all!

The illustrations are bright and colorful. The pictures represent the words in the book. The author did a really good job with it. It is good for young readers.

Young children can see the pictures while the parent, older brother or sister read the book. I like the fact that it easy poem and meaningful. The story has a moral and explains that God or our Lord created it. It has faith in it and explains it in the best way.
