Hindi’s Libraries Launches World Read Aloud Day Video Initiative

January 4, 2022- Long Island, NY: Hindi’s Libraries, a NY based international nonprofit that donates children’s books around the world is excited to launch the 2022 World Read Aloud Day Video Collaboration.

In celebration of the national holiday which takes place on February 2, 2022, the nonprofit is asking bookworms worldwide to select one of the curated words (found in a list below) that describes the philosophy and mission of the nonprofit and find a children’s book that embodies that idea.

“In years past, we’ve been able to celebrate World Read Aloud Day in schools throughout the country while partnering with children’s authors to help give the gift of literacy on this special day. This year, we’re still offering bookworms across the globe to come together and celebrate not only the power of reading, but the purpose of and meaning behind Hindi’s Libraries,” explains co-founder Leslie Gang

The nonprofit will then release the final video on their social media platforms in honor of World Read Aloud Day.

Words to choose from: community, inspiration, kindness, legacy, gratitude, leadership, volunteer, creativity, determination, teamwork.

Deadline to submit videos: January 25th. All submissions can be emailed to info@hindislibraries.org

Promo: Dear Mrs. President: The Film

Celebrate Women in Leadership & Help Bring the Storybook to Life

Did you enjoy the book "Dear Mrs. President" by Ana Maria Marci? Well she has decided to create a short story film best on it. It liiks like it about a girl that write a letter to the first Mrs. Presdent. I really think this is really a good idea. Girls and Woman should be celebrated in Leadership.

Woman and girls would have someone to look up to and be able to dream big. They sould be able to do what they love and acieve thier dreams. The book helps with this and this Film should be support as well.

The Inspiration:

"Dear Mrs. President" is a short animated film based on the children's book by Ana Maria Medici. Our goal with this project is to create a meaningful film that inspires children to think and dream without limits, while promoting a timely message of female empowerment.

Having the first female Vice President of the United States is an important step forward for women and young girls everywhere, and something to be celebrated. But we want young girls to continue dreaming even bigger than second in command – what if a woman became President? Something that now seems more possible than ever.

To help young ones continue to dream of what could be possible in their lifetime, a team of animators have been hard at work to bring the storybook to life, through the magic of film and animation.

Our intention is to not only give parents a tool to help create thoughtful conversations with little ones about women in leadership, but to also inspire a new generation of female leaders.
