Are you looking for another good faith-based book for your child or children around Christmas? Well, The Berenstain Bears and the Christmas Angel will not disappoint. It is sweet as the cubs wait for snow and then get it. They head outside and play in it. They start to wonder what kind of snowman to create.

Children will enjoy this and want to reread it as they continue to be well. This one is a bit different from your typical building of a snowman. Mama and Papa help teach the cubs about their chosen snowman once they have built it.

Children will learn about the Christmas angel named Gabriel. I love how the cubs help each other and bounce off ideas. Their littlest one helps by just being herself. She gives them the idea when she does this.

This book is another classic book for any favorite fans of the Berenstain Bears. These books stand more based on faith and teaching of the Bible so children can learn it. I love these books the best. The author does a beautiful job with this book.

The Berenstain Bears Gives Thanks is another excellent book to have for your child or children's bookshelves during the holiday season. Suppose you are looking for another good Thanksgiving book. This one is good.

This one somewhat brings in the fact of Sister's feelings about Thanksgiving dinner and a turkey. Have you had to distract a child from worrying and giving them something else to do? Well, this book shows that with Sister Bear and her worry about a turkey named Plymouth. Mama seems to come up with a suggestion that Sister can write a play about Thanksgiving or the Pilgrims Bears and their journey over to the new land. How we have our Thanksgiving feast and how it came about.

This book teaches several different life lessons and some meaningful things we should be thankful for. Children should be able to describe what Thanksgiving is at your house by their feelings or senses. What could they all be?

Some things children can do as they wait for the dinner on Thanksgiving occur act out or write a Thanksgiving story or what they think the Thanksgiving story is. You may be surprised what Thanksgiving means for them or your family.

Parents and grandparents might want to add this to your child's bookshelves, for they will want to read and reread it. It is terrific to read before the holiday.

The Berenstain Bears Thanksgiving Blessing is a book for all children. The book is a must-have on your bookshelves if you are a Berenstain Bears fan. This book helps teach children about Thanksgiving and being thankful for the blessing that you have.

This book teaches Mama and Papa as they ride through the woods to their grans and gramps place for Thanksgiving dinner. They teach about how the native Bears and pilgrims shared and started the whole Thanksgiving feast and what it means to be thankful for all the blessings you have.

The blessing is quite a few things we have somewhat forgotten we came to have. Some of the blessings are Family and Friends, Faith, and religion. A few others. The cubs do mention a song that is a favorite of mine. The song is “Over the river and Through the woods.”

What will your child or children learn about the history of holidays and celebrations? This book teaches a bit about it. What is your child or children learning to be Thankful for during the season? Are we teaching that children should be thankful for the blessing that they have? The many blessings we have in life have continued told in this book.

Are you a Berenstain Bears fan? There is a book that is for your children to read if they have not read it yet. If you are looking for a book about the meaning of Easter? The Berenstain Bears and the Easter Story is worth it.

It will tell the story of Easter and Jesus' resurrection so that young children can learn and understand the story. It is easy for children to learn about the bible story of what happens to Jesus and why we celebrate Easter.

The pictures are colorful and bright. The story happens told through a play to the bear cubs and students at the Sunday school. Easter candy is not everything for why Easter is so important. These acts remain shown throughout the book.

Parents would add this book to their collection of books for their children. Your child or children should have this book added to your child's bookshelves or collection of The Berenstain Bears. The book can be carried out and read to young children before Easter. Children can then bring up the topic or ask questions about how Jesus has risen and why we celebrate Easter. Some children might start thinking about what it's like after someone passes away. The Berenstain Bears Learn about Heaven can help your child or children learn about what Heaven is? It does it in a way that children can learn without having to make it too complicated.

I know adults might have this same question and do not know all the answers to them. This book talks about them as well. This one has geared children but who says we can not read it and make more sense of it. This book is done well with its illustrations.

Heaven can be different for everyone so there are no right or wrong answers. This one all starts with a few phrases that Lizzy says that makes Sister Bear start thinking. The way this book is done can help with asking questions about a big topic.

The pictures are wonderfully done. I was looking at the picture a bit more to just look at. There seem to be different explanations for what heaven looks like for each person that Sister Bear asks. This book is good for Sunday school teachers or even churches. Parents can have this on their bookshelves for children to read or to be read to about. If you are a Berenstain Bears fan, you will want this book in your library or bookshelves.

You know the best series out there that good for children is The Berenstain Bears. It teaches about things children need and still really good. It one of my favorite series. I regret getting rid of my books i had growing up. The one I have now i will not give them away. I am over the children section but I love reading children books. These books i will never grow out of or want to.

The Berenstain Bears Bless our pets is really is a new one. It deal with or what our children need in moral teachings in the real world. It teaches us that animals or our pets are more family rather than just plan animals. They should be treated like any other family member. I know I treat my pets like they are family and talk to them like their my babies.

Children will learn that they need to take care of pets and what it like and treat them like other family members to a point. Mike Berenstain does a really well job with it and with the pictures. The picture can tell the story.

The Berenstain Bears Bedtime Devotional is a good book for young readers. It appears a collection from different Titles of the Berenstain Bears. It got a Christian theme throughout the book. It is a good one for young children.

If parents want to settle down their children this would be good for them to listen to. Children can learn to read through this book as well. You can read any story that you feel is best for you and your children if you want to.

Each story has a life lesson for children to learn and listen to. It is good for family gatherings.

Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents, Stan and Jan, working together to write and draw these lovable bears. Eventually, he started drawing and writing about them too. Mike is married to Andrea and they have three children. They live in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks a lot like Bear Country.

Mike's earliest memory is of his parent's studio in suburban Philadelphia. He remembers sitting on the floor scribbling on yellow typewriter paper with a big black pencil. His mother looked at the tangled hairball he had created, pointed out some random shape and said, "Look! You've drawn a fish!" It did, indeed, look like a fish. That was his first drawing lesson. He's been drawing ever since.

Aside from drawing, Mikes primary interests growing up were playing whiffle ball with his older brother Leo, collecting insects, stamps, coins, bottle caps, baseball cards, etc., building model planes, playing Davy Crockett in the backyard and fishing. He was also interested in watching the creation of his parent's magazine cartoons during the 50s and finally, the birth of the first Berenstain Bears book in 1962. He's often asked which is his favorite Berenstain Bear book. The answer is THE BERENSTAIN BEARS PICNIC, created when he was twelve. It features a picture of Papa Bear getting a big load of garbage dumped on his head. He thought this was very funny. Ever since, he's enjoyed drawing garbage apple cores, banana peels, old bed springs and the like.

Mike attended art school in Philadelphia in the early 70s, then worked as a designer in the Children's Book Department of a New York publisher before starting his career as an author and illustrator. His first children's book was published in 1976 followed by some thirty more over the next sixteen years. These ranged in subject from wizards to dinosaurs.

Since the late 80s, he has been very much involved as a writer and illustrator with his family's creation, the Berenstain Bears. He continues to work with his mother, Jan, creating new books, writing and illustrating.

Aside from the bears, Mike is interested in many things in classical music, American history, astronomy, and physics. He likes to ski. He spends a lot of time with horses.

Mike is married, his wife's name is Andrea. They have three children whose antics and activities growing up have provided inspiration for many Berenstain Bears books over the years."
