In Her Christmas Pen Pal, Joy has to deal with her boyfriend who want to see other women. She starts to write a letter to her cousin. Though it happens it sent to the wrong person. The mystery man writes back to Joy. The Cabinet maker and Joy send letter back and forth with each other. There are twist and turns in this story and has a good mystery in the story as well. Do Noah and Joy get together? This grandmother starts talking to Joy about her grandson. Will Joy find out that the woman was talking about?

In A Gift for Anne Marie, Anne Marie wondering about the changes that are coming. She finds out about her mothers letters. When she does she finds out that her mother is getting re-married and they are moving. Anne Marie does not like it at all. She start to feel the changes between her and Nathaniel. Nathaniel does not like the fact that Annie Marie may be moving. Is there anything either can do about it?

In The Christmas Aprons, Easter Glick is a nanny for her cousin until her cousin can deal with her baby. While here Easter receives her mother recipe that every popular. She learns what she want to to be accepted for herself and not though the pies she bakes. Will she learn about Love?

A young man get on the bus with her and he decides to sit next to her. He reads a letter he received. He does not know what do about the letter. Abigail offers to help him by saying he should stop by her place to talk to her father.  As keeps going it get better and better. There a mystery in the story. There are twist and turns though out the book.

In I’ll Be Home for Christmas, is a story about Pete Turner, Abigail's brother. He is home from the war for a month or so. He run into a little girl that was looking into the window and praying. He takes her home and runs into her widow mother.

Will Pete be able to redeem himself and help the little girl? The little girl thinks she found her new daddy. Will it all out you will have to read to find out. Abigail and her boyfriend Jackson discussion their wedding plans.  You see Abigail and Jackson get married during this story as well.  You meet Merry during this story as well for a bit of time. There a more twist and turns though this story as well.

In Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, We learn about Merry life. We see her working in the Army as well. She is an Army nurse and is working in Europe. She and her friends are trying to help wounded soldiers from the front line.

Merry boyfriend had run away at the beginning the is doing his duty by trying to save children. Merry does not know he is near by. Soon she see him for the first time in a long time. Though he is hiding out, Will things work out for Merry? You will need to read to find out.

Author Bio:
Stephen Maitland-Lewis is an award-winning author, a British attorney, and a former international investment banker. He held senior positions in the City of London, Kuwait, and on Wall Street before moving to California in 1991. He owned a luxury hotel and a world-renowned restaurant and was also the Director of Marketing of a Los Angeles daily newspaper. Maitland-Lewis is a jazz aficionado and a Board Trustee of the Louis Armstrong House Museum in New York. A member of PEN and the Author’s Guild, Maitland-Lewis is also on the Executive Committee of the International Mystery Writers Festival.

His novel Hero on Three Continents received numerous accolades, and Emeralds Never Fade won the 2012 Benjamin Franklin Award for Historical Fiction and the 2011 Written Arts Award for Best Fiction. His novel Ambition was a 2013 USA Best Book Awards and 2014 International Book Awards finalist and won first place for General Fiction in the 2013 Rebecca’s Reads Choice Awards. How did you do research for your book?

The internet is my primary source for research, but one has to be very disciplined so as not to go off in tangents in reading material with is irrelevant to the topic in hand. For that reason, visits to local libraries are ideal, although more time consuming. With regard to Botticelli’s Bastard, the research covered many different periods of European history, which made the project enjoyable and it did not at any time feel onerous.

If you could put yourself as a character in your book, who would you be?

Unquestionably, Giovanni Fabrizzi, the art restorer. He was burdened with sadness and later on was faced with the dilemma of Satan on one shoulder and the good angel on the other in determining his course of action. But there is a moral tale for all of us and I found myself inspired by his ultimate decision.

What made you write a book about a talking painting?

A painting that has survived 500 years, has traveled across continents, and has hung on many different walls, has a life of its own. Just as Oscar Wilde’s Dorian Grey had a painting that aged, my painting in Botticelli’s Bastard talks to the restorer. Just as a writer or an actor can get totally immersed in his character, so can a restorer working over a long period of time and in the minutest detail, become overtaken by the painting on which he is working.

Your book is set in London, Florence, Munich, Paris, New York, and Zurich. Have you ever been there?

I was born and raised in London, and I have also lived in Munich, Paris, and New York. In my former professional life, I made frequent trips to Zurich and I spent a week once on vacation in Florence.

What is the last great book you’ve read?

Sophie’s Choice by William Styron. This novel is superb on every level – character, plot, language, and overall style. I first read the book many years ago, at a time when I was not writing professionally, so I didn’t appreciate the subtlety and brilliance of Mr. Styron. Reading it again recently, I realized that the author was one of the major world’s literary geniuses. His writing is so fine that I have to resist the temptation of never writing another word.

Do you write every day?

I try to do so. Even if I am not writing a novel, I think it is important to write something on a daily basis, whether it be a journal entry, or a complex social or business letter. The great piano virtuoso Arturo Rubenstein remarked once that “the first day I do not practice, I notice. The second day I miss a practice, the critics notice. The third day – the audience notices.”

How long have you been writing?

When I was still a teenager in London, I was a contributing columnist to Melody Maker, a weekly musical journal, and I also freelanced in writing liner notes for record albums and reviews of jazz concerts. During my days as an international investment banker, I wrote regularly articles for various professional journals. I spent a few years writing for a daily newspaper, and have now written fiction full time for sixteen years.

This my first in this kind of book dealing with art and history. It a good book and interesting. It deals with Germany and take over of Europe in the 1940's. I liked the idea of the painting talking and telling detail about his owners. That what is been so neat about it. I love the fact that Giovanni started with a discovery of stolen art.

Giovanni has some family problems that it so funny in a way that he find a discovery to lift his spirit. The author was good and i enjoyed the book. I rate this book at 4 1/2 stars. Those the painting stories about himself is so funny that you want to laugh. It makes you want to find out more of they mystery of the painting. The elevator doors opened on the lobby of Imperial Cruise Lines bringing Laura back to the present. She took a deep breath and stepped onto the polished marble floor with all the determination of a gladiator stepping into the Roman Colosseum. “Showtime.”

I really enjoyed this book. It is the second book in series. I really do not go for these kinds of books. This one had me after a few chapters. It also has some twist and turns like in the first book. Alex is back and better. Alex helps his brother Michael out. Micheal deals with all kinds of things that are going on. He does things that his brother would have done if he were alive.

One of Alex's clients goes after Michael's wife Samantha. What makes Sharkey, the bad guy and his buddies go after her and still want Michael  to be dead as well? The murders take place around the world. We start to understand Sharkey and why he wants Michael killed. How can Alex do what he can if he's dead?

Is Alex alive and hiding somewhere or is he really dead? Donna is Alex's third wife.Though Michael and Donna get some shocking news about Alex. Sindy enter Michael's life. Things are just getting more interesting with all the things going on. Does Michael save his marriage? Alex is getting more information so can he help Michael?

What I Want for Christmas by Christina George

Dear Santa,

Christmas is getting close and I realized I haven’t sent you my list yet. So here it is, and though I didn't ask for world peace, I tried not to be selfish. Though I do feel that authors-not-behaving-badly would sort of count towards the world peace thing.

1. Realistic expectations: Last week I spoke with an author about her marketing, when I tried to get more information about the book, she said, “the only thing you need to know about my book is that it’s the best book ever written and will be an international bestseller.” All right then. Good to know. Please see #7.
2. Less of 50 Shades of Grey: I know, I know, there’s a movie coming out so my hope for this is diminishing by the minute. But the other day I was in the store and they now have a 50 Shades of Grey branded wine. Really? Are you allowed to drink it outside of the Red Room of Pain? Over it.
3. Please stop making stupid people famous. Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian. Really?
4. Please stop publishing books by stupid people. ‘Nuf said.
5. Please make Bradley Cooper drop his restraining order against me so we can finally live happily ever after and make babies and I can stop boring all of you with my blog rants.
6. I want someone to create a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream that is almost orgasmic and totally calorie free. It seems like people have been spending a lot of time inventing a bunch of stupid “As-seen-on-TV” shit. Why do we need a light-up pillow? Aren't pillows for sleeping? Isn’t a light sort of counterproductive? And a zoom cooker for baked potatoes, really? Who’s eating so many baked potatoes that you need a machine to cook them in 9 seconds? If you’re eating that many potatoes, you may have a problem a fast-cooker can’t fix. Try the ice cream instead.
7. Authors who understand that writing a book is hard work. It’s not like instant hot chocolate where you add hot water and “poof,” it’s a delightful beverage. A lot of authors feel that way about their book marketing. Publish, and “poof:” it’s a bestseller. Nope, sorry. Do nothing and poof, it’s number four million on Amazon.com.
8. I love Christmas, but please stop putting up store decorations in April. Putting up Christmas crap early does not make me want to buy more. Does anyone really need a reminder that Christmas is in December? I think that most stores believe we are all morons.
9. For people to stop using Facebook as a diary. Seriously. Most of the time when someone posts some odd, sad diatribe like: “Please pray for me, my life is a swirling black hole,” I want to remind them to stop being an attention whore and that this is a public forum and personal rants should be kept to yourself - and if they do end their life, to please will me all of their cool gadgets. Also, I want Facebook to create a “dislike” button. I would use this button several times an hour.
10. For people to say thank you more. I know this sounds ridiculous and silly, but when was the last time someone just randomly thanked you for something you did? We thank the barista who hands us our coffee (you do, don’t you?), but when was the last time you thanked a blogger or reader for a review? Or thanked your marketing person for their hard work (even if they didn't make you famous?) Seriously. Say please, say thank you. It will change your life.

Ok so that’s it. Note that I didn't ask for a bunch of selfish stuff. Well, except for Bradley Cooper. But if you can’t give me anything on this list, then I’d like a house in the South of France. And minions. I’d like minions, too. :-)Kisses,
