Will he seceded in what he wants for Sarah or will Rachel help her. Rachel is expecting her child soon. Will this make Wally more understanding or not.

Sarah and Joel ride out with Jacob and his wife. Once she arrives in Fort Laramie, sees Rand and she meets Jessica and her mother. She finds out that Rand and Jessica are to marry. In the meantime, Ben is out to get Sarah back in his arms.

We meet two new Indian girls and children. This put Sarah to help teach the children more English. What happens next is  surprising. Rand is asked to see this new fur trader. When he finds out who it is. He needs to go ask Sarah if she knew that Ben was back.

Born and raised in Cajun country, Lee Stephen spent his childhood paddling pirogues through the marshes of South Louisiana. When he wasn't catching bullfrogs or playing with alligators in the bathtub (both true), he was escaping to the world of the imagination, creating worlds in his mind filled with strange creatures and epic journeys. This hasn't stopped.

Describe your *Latest/Recent* book in 20 Words or Less?

Epic 4: The Glorious Becoming is the fourth installment of Epic and a game-changing page-turner about love, betrayal, and alien invasion!

Where or how did you come up with the idea for your story (in this book)?

I was inspired by a lot when I was a kid, namely Star Trek, and old video game named X-Com, and movies like Alien and Black Hawk Down. My faith also played a role, as I wanted a means to express it in a realistic, non-romanticized way.

How important are names to you in your book(s)? Do you choose the names based on liking the way it sounds or the meaning? Do you have any name choosing resources you that you?

Names are semi-important, and sometimes at more subtle levels than others. I name my characters based partially on sound and meaning, but if I had to lean one way, I'd lean toward sound. So far as resources, there are a lot of baby name websites out there! I use them all.

Which of your characters (in this book) is your favorite and Why?

Boris Evteev has always been one of my favorite, even though his role is smaller in this book than in the sequels. He's just an almost behind-the-scenes character who rarely finds himself in the limelight, but always gets things done.

Was there a certain scene *in this book* that was harder for you to write than others?

I would have to answer that in the general sense that accurate depictions of faith were challenging throughout the entire book, simply because they require you to look inside yourself, and that can be humbling. Faith isn't always pretty, and doubt is a constant foe. It was important for me to capture those things rather than try to sugarcoat the spiritual life.

If you could cast your characters in the Hollywood adaptation of your book, who would play your characters?

Funny you should ask! I've actually reached out to a few actors and actresses to obtain permission to "cast" them in my novel, purely for entertainment purposes. Seeking permission was important for me, as I don't like posting peoples' photos on my website without permission, even if they are actors. Here are the actors and actresses who have given me the green light:

What was your favorite part to write and why? (Alternate Q: What is your least favorite part of the publishing / writing process?)

Any chance I get to inject humor is something I love, whether it's a moment of biting sarcasm or something ridiculous like a running pie-in-the-face gag. I'm pretty sure Epic is the only hardcore military science-fiction series with the latter!

This might surprise people, but I sometimes despise writing action scenes. They're really tough! They're a lot more cerebral than I think most people think, as you have to make dramatic and tactical sense at the same time. You can't wrap up an action scene whenever you want to. They kind of end up dictating themselves.

Just as your books inspire authors, what authors have inspired you to write? (Alternate Q: If you didn't like writing books, what would you do for a living?, What writing advice do you have for other aspiring authors?

Cinema inspires me far more than literature. I tend to be a more cinematic writer. I love Peter Berg and Ridley Scott. Those guys are just incredible. So far as another occupation, I actually have one of those already! I work full-time for the Dept. of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness in South Louisiana. I love what I do!

Do you read your reviews? Do you respond to them, good or bad? Do you have any advice on how to deal with the bad?

I read every single review, but the only time I reply is when someone points out an error, as was the case once when a reader felt that part of a book's description on Amazon spoiled something that happened. When those things happen, it's just good customer service to respond and fix the issue (which I did). The reviewer was appreciative! Other than that, you just take things in stride and keep your mouth shut.

What are you working on now? What is your next project?

I'm working on two things right now, one of which is the fifth installment of Epic, titled Enemy One, and the other of which is something TOTALLY different, but that I can't discuss just yet.

Bonus Question: Characters often find themselves in situations they aren't sure they can get themselves out of. When was the last time you found yourself in a situation that was hard to get out of and what did you do?

Maybe not the answer people expect, but when I was diagnosed with cancer at age 31. I have mycosis fungoides, which is an incurable form of lymphoma, but one that's manageable. Needless to say, living with an incurable cancer is a hard situation to get out of! Even though it shouldn't be this that kills me, it keeps me grounded and reevaluating my life fairly often. Honestly, it's a blessing for those reasons. I think that might answer the last part: trusting in God to get me through this and knowing that, in the end, it's for my best.

This book has action though out the book. Scott and three comrades get transferred to Russia. They seem to find new friends. Though he is though first fight. They all think Scott is their for Glory. Do they learn that he does not like being there. They go on mission, They find out about one thing that is not fair. They are attacked.

There one surprise that I can not want to tell you about. It would spoil the end. If you enjoy Action and Adventures then this is a book for you. Dawn of Destiny is really well written and a filled with Action on every turn. Who will win this battle?  His bosses want him to show he deserve this new rank. What to happen next, I can not wait to read the next book.

Describe your *Latest/Recent* book in 20 Words or Less?

Visiting the Sins is a Texas tale of mothers and daughters whose conflicting ambitions tear their family apart.

Where or how did you come up with the idea for your story (in this book)?

My real life grandmother was the inspiration for “Pokey,” the pistol-packing matriarch. She landed herself in quite a few scandalous escapades over the years, and never repented of any of it. The plot was built around her adventures.

How important are names to you in your book(s)? Do you choose the names based on liking the way it sounds or the meaning? Do you have any name choosing resources you that you?

The names of my characters are hugely important, much like the names of my own children. The names need to fit the time and place, but more importantly, they reflect the hopes, dreams, values, and culture of the parents who would have chosen the name. I give a lot of thought to whether they would have chosen to name the child for a relative, or someone from the Old Testament, or even for a virtue they hoped the child would have. I don’t use name books, but I do sometimes note names from an obituary, or from my own family tree.

Which of your characters (in this book) is your favorite and Why?

Each of my characters is special to me, but I guess my favorite would have to be Pokey, the matriarch. She just refuses to quit, refuses to feel sorry for herself, and refuses to apologize for being who she is. I can’t help rooting for her.

Was there a certain scene *in this book* that was harder for you to write than others?

The scene where the drunk dad kicks the family dog into the air made me sick.

If you could cast your characters in the Hollywood adaptation of your book, who would play your characters?

There are so many juicy parts for women in this story that I wouldn’t know where to begin casting, except for one: I would love to see Sissy Spacek play Pokey.

What was your favorite part to write and why? (Alternate Q: What is your least favorite part of the publishing / writing process?)

I have loved just about every part of it except for revising from the editor’s marks. That was tedious work.

Just as your books inspire authors, what authors have inspired you to write? (Alternate Q: If you didn't like writing books, what would you do for a living?, What writing advice do you have for other aspiring authors?

I’m inspired all over again every time I read a good book, but one author that I go back to again and again for inspiration is William Faulkner. His writing is so evocative, so unpretentious. And he was not afraid to experiment with structure or point of view.

The best advice I have is to get objective feedback on your writing, either through a critique group or in a class environment. It will make you a better writer and help you get accustomed to criticism.

Do you read your reviews? Do you respond to them, good or bad? Do you have any advice on how to deal with the bad?

I do read them, but I don’t usually respond to them since I think they are intended mainly for other readers. Negative reviews are just part of the deal. I appreciate anyone who reads my book and I also appreciate a thoughtful discussion of the literary merits of any intriguing book, whether it’s mine or someone else’s.

What are you working on now? What is your next project?

I’m in the process of adapting Visiting the Sins into a screenplay, and also working on a new novel, a Texas-based tale about the relationship between people and their land. All the main characters in Visiting the Sins were women, so I am really enjoying seeing some strong male characters come to life.

Bonus Question: Characters often find themselves in situations they aren’t sure they can get themselves out of. When was the last time you found yourself in a situation that was hard to get out of and what did you do?

I wish I could come up with something where I acted heroically, but my most recent predicament was when I was walking my dog one morning and a yellowjacket dive-bombed me. He stung me on the head, proceeded to get himself tangled up in my hair, and just kept on stinging me over and over. I ran into the house screaming hysterically for help. My husband calmly extracted the yellowjacket and gave him the death penalty. My poor dog did not know what caused my fit and now he is nervous to go walking with me.

There seems to be a story about mothers and daughters. You see them struggle and what they decide to do what best for their loves ones. It seem to be a story about Curtis Jean mostly.

Curtis Jean does she accept and change the life with her husband and her two daughters. Does she fall backwards? What the legacy of this family and what could destroy everything in it path. There seems to be death around the corner. That it mean to them do they pray to god in one way or not.

I advise that you watch with your children who reads this book. For there is some things that are said that is only meant for adults. I say though of ages of 13 plus would be a good idea to read this book. It seem to be about men and drinking and all that kind of things.

What finish to his book. It quite a story. It a little heartfelt story. It a story about a mother and daughter. Suzanne is force to do something for years. Suzanne has secrets of her own. She was asked to come back home to care for her mother. What happen between her and her daughter.

Paul sees Suzanne again. He meets Alexa and starts to feel his guilt. Will there be a forgiveness for them all? Suzanne has one thing to tell Paul about a secert that happens 20 years earlier. While things are a bit strange when she first arrives. She does not know if her mother wants her there or her siblings.

There are some things going on between Abigail and her children. She also meets her granddaughter she never knew about. There are twist and turns. Will there be healing for them all? Is there really what could heal the hurts. Will Paul and Suzanne talk about what happen between and why she left the community?
