My Thoughts on the Book:
This is about a girl that moves often because of the dad job. She doe not like having to move from one city to the next and leaving her friend and missing school, just after getting settled in a city.

This diary starts out in Washington DC, it set in Washington DC until they move to Hawaii. The rest of the book is about her getting use to Oahu, Hawaii her new home. In the book she experiences the attack on Pearl Harbor. Her brother Andy and Amber see Japanese Plane flying over Early Sunday Morning. Amber does make a friend name Kame.

The book tell you about the history of the Attack on Pearl Harbor though the young girl in the story. This is another book in the series of Dear America. It based on the real thing. If you enjoy History, this is good book along with it good for young reader and Children.

My Thoughts on the book:
This book is different then others I have read. For the format is in Diary setting. Though I understood the story behind it. This was great read. It told more of the history of the Trail. It about a girl that goes though the some hardships and adjustments.

Florrie and her family travel from Arrow Rock, Missouri to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Florrie and her brother Jem need to adjust to having a stepfather named Mr. Ryder. You learn a lot about the daily life of being on the Santa Fe Trail back in 1848.

Most of this dairy tell you the History of America during that time. Most of the dairy is down on the trail of The Santa Fe Trail. Though that like to learn about America History, this is good for young readers.

Question: How do you handle the writing of a negative review? 

My Answer: Well this my seem kind funny but I have very few Negative reviews. Though I have one or two. Though just because it was not my cup of tea. It does not have anything to do with the author that wrote the book. It just may have not keep me interested in it. Most of the books have postive reviews overall. If you go though some you may find that my rating goes as low as a 3 Rats to 5 rats. I do not think any have less then that. If so it very though though I do remember with 2 rats...take or leave it. 

Mostly if I give a low rating I try and stay positive and tell others know that it not the author that I am giving the low rating it may be that it just was not my cup of tea or did not interest me though I will be honesty to my point or view of rating if it low that it is just me that I did not like. Knowing that other my love it or like it, if they pick it up and read it.

I am currently reading "All the Stars in the Sky: The Santa Fe Trail Diary of Florrie Mack Ryder" by Megan McDonald right. It from the Series "Dear America". It about a girl on the trail with her new stepfather and family and traveling to a new home.

I do not know at the moment who I would like to Cast for this. But here what think will work or at least try. I am going to use Character from the Little house on the praire for this one.

My Thoughts on this book:
I enjoyed seeing that a girl wanted to fly a plane. That her dad was teaching her. Her dad let her have her chance of landing a plane on her birthday. This book does have some action and Adventure. Those their a mystery unfolds once her father was drafted to sent off to fight in the war.

There information about WWII in this book and about the attack on Pearl Harbor. It does give some information on our history. It goes into issues about bullying, prejudiced, Learning to make friends, I see what kids and others did to other kids back then.

Bird and Kenji do find some real spy activity while they are researching for their school report. Kenji is new in town and joins Bird class. Want to know more then I suggest reading it for I do not want to give spoilers away.

Does Bird get to fly a plane?, Doe she get her wish of her father to come home?, Does she and Kenji form a friendship? These answer can be found in the book. It a good read for children and you get some background information on Pearl Harbor and WWII.

How to answer this...., Hmmm let see. I have two Many books to Count that I own. Let see I have a set of Series, Several different books that are not in series. I should say I have about 200 books that have laying in stacks around my bedroom. 1 Bookshelf has one set of series. With some books on top the bookshelf. I have books on my headboard  with shelves in the headboard and closed selves that have books. I also have a few on a table and a set of books in a series in fold up box with a lid. I have received a few books from authors let say a few weeks ago. I finished some of the books. They are sitting on my computer tower.

Like I said this is some of my keep books. I will be receiving a few more. You can see my TBR List on the Left side of this blog. I have a few that I need to read. Though most of the books listed there are read and are waiting for me to review them. They are all books I read before I started this Book Blog. Some of the books I own I want to reread so I can put a Review up. I said I had about 200 own books... This does not include my Ebooks for my Nook.

I have a few e-books sitting in my Nook that need to be added to TBR List if they are not all ready there. If they are They are just needing to me to write the Reviews. I have e-books that need to placed on my Nook to read. I am working to get to these. I finally am getting to a book I put on there for review now. This has not even hit my To read List Yet.

I received this book from the author. I read it and it was every cute and funny. I rhymes every so often. The story tell about how he is named "I'm Squirrely".

I love how the pictures are funny to look at and the story itself is funny. I was laughing almost every time I read the book. It tell how he acts in school and what he does at home. It show just how he loves moving and Grooving.

I also think it is geared to children that have ADHD. I could be wrong but I think some children with AD-HD is kinda like I'm Squirrely. Though most children are kinda like this growing up a bit.

My Thoughts:
I asked the author to review is book. For I do enjoy Children books even at my age. I will tell you that it a quick read and a great read. I understood the concept of it and it almost had my eyes in tears. I said almost at the end of the book. It is heartfelt. I do really believe this.

The story is a great a wonderful for children and they would understand it quite well. I am glad that the author got though her grief and talked about it or at least talked to her father or her brother. I for the pictures   in the book. This I could see what she was trying to refer to in the pictures though they were not perfect but I did understand the point and the story itself. This as nothing to do with the author writing the book or the illustrator who did the pictures.

My mom had picked up the book before I did. She picked it up sometime before we went on vacation for a weekend. I had received it my mail and opened it. I was currently reading another book at the time. It was sitting on the table in the living. My mom picked it up and read it. She said that it was good. The pictures were not great to her, though I think she understood the book though. This is what she told me when I asked  How was the book. I could recommend it to Children and Parents and though working with Children.

My Thoughts on this Book:

I truly fell that his it a good read. You learn about Lydia youngest sister Ruthie and Lydia struggles. You may to start crying while reading this book. I now I did. I felt like i was a part of the story myself. We also meet the  Kauffman's Family.

We meet some of the Kauffman Family member from the Kauffman's Amish Bakery series. This story is about the Elizabeth and Eli granddaughter Lydia Bontrager.

Lydia starts out with being stressed out about her little sister illness. She makes several mistakes and she starts to understand a bit. Her parents are stressed out as well about their youngest daughter and what she might have.

Lydia works two jobs. One is at her grandmothers bakery, the other is as teacher assistant to the Amish Primary School in her district. You will have to read to find out what happens to her and if she get her dream and what job she chooses for full time. I do recommend this book all readers young and old. This book can stand along a bit. Though if you want to get to know the rest of the Kauffman's Family I suggest that you read the "Kauffman's Amish Bakery" series.

Assuming an average blog gets 15,000 visits a month, it has yearly carbon dioxide emissions of 3,6kg (8lb.). This can mainly be tracked back to the immense energy usage from (mainframe) computers, servers, and their cooling systems.

North Carolina is one of my Favorite Vacation Spots for reading on the beach and relaxing. If I got to tired of reading I could sleep on the beach or go into the Ocean and body board. I went here until 2008 I think. Though I go back now that I been away from it. I could go to the Pool as well and Read and Relax.

Fort Myers Beach, is a good place to do it as well but for how long before going into the Calm Waters to swim. Though I could do it here as well and relax and Catch up on reading.

My Thoughts:
This book is got me hooked as soon as I started reading the Preface. This book is great for though that love the Civil War. I got this book and started reading before the other two in this series. This book is Fiction somewhat. There is some true folks from our true american History that is in this book along with some fiction folks.

This book is based on the start of the Civil War. It starts out with Abraham Lincoln traveling to the White House. Then it goes into the Battle of Bull Run. There is some really interesting things and our history in this book. I do not want to spoil the book by giving any thing away. If you have not read this book I strongly read it. My mom is quite interested in reading the book and she barely picks up the same books as I do. If you want to read about the Civil War then I suggest that you read this book called "Beloved Enemy".

You read about the Lincons In Ingratiation and the Battle of Bull Run Creek and who start the Civil war.You   learn about Confederate Spies and what happens to them. This is something I would recommend to everyone to read.

My Thoughts on the Book:
This book was something that keep interest to the end. Vivian and her Aunt Alma start out on the train to Cripple Creek. Vivian Aunt is only staying for a week or two before she head back to Maine. Vivian has her only ideas and what she wants to do.

Carter is a lawman who seem determined to keep Cripple Creek safe. He been dealing with bank robberies. He here that the train was robbed of the cash book by two men. When the train travels in to Cripple Creek. Carter see a young woman and she the one who tripped the short man. It really a strange that Carter and Vivian would see each other often somewhere in town.

Vivian and Carter do not that they will help each other and find love that the same time. They both start with their own struggles. They were needing find Grace and Forgiveness though God and there mistakes. Do they  overcome their fears and struggles and mistakes? Read it to find out.

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this book and received though net gallery. I am review. I truly enjoyed reading this. I could connect though the Characters of this book. The book starts out with Ella reviving a book from her grandmother. The book is from her Great Grandmother Sarah. There a mystery or code that Ella is asked to break in her great grandmothers book.

Her mother and grandmother and the Grandys want their relationship with Ella and Ezra to change. They Ezra is to go to a farm but Ella decides to go with him. She get a job and a place to live. She forms a friendship with an Amish farmhand named Luke while in Indiana.

There a tragically back at home, with her brother Zed. She goes back home and has to face her past from what she was running way from. I really like this book. The mystery is pulled though out the whole book. It come to lite and helps another family in the process. The mystery is revealed at the end of the book.

So does Ella choose Luke or Ezra to Marry? What is the Mystery in the book that Ella must break the code? To find out these answers I suggest you read the book. I would Recommend it too.

I was somewhat interest what was going to happen when I started to read this. I could tell it was about two people trapped in a snowstorm by the name of the book along with cover.

What did not expect was up and down my emotion did with this book. I was going are they going to get together or break up. They both had their attraction to each other but did not seem not to want to have each other or at least Dannie did not want to admit that she could love someone.

Lee had gotten to save Dannie during the storm. Though her first thoughts were it was bear was coming to get her. She soon found out it was Lee. He seem to be prepared with a walkies talkie and she was a little befuddled about that. Before they had up to the cabin, Lee get talks to Stevens. If you really want to know what happens I suggest you read the book. It a great book to read. Just be prepared to have your emotions go for a ride or a roller coaster ride of up and down with them.
